To install the INTERMATIC Electronic 1 Circuit 24 Hour Time Switch, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect power at the circuit breaker(s) or disconnect switch(es) before installing or servicing.
2. Remove the xxxx that secures the plastic insulator and lift the left side of the insulator to expose the terminal strip.
3. Press the latch at the top of the enclosure and pull out the mechanism from the enclosure.
4. Choose and remove the selected knockout(s) from the enclosure to accommodate the wiring.
5. Place the enclosure in the desired location and securely mount it using the provided mounting holes.
6. Strip 1/2 inch off the supply and load wires. Use #14-#8 AWG copper conductors rated at least 105°C.
7. Connect the wires to the proper terminals on the time switch and tighten the screws firmly.
8. Connect the ground wire to the grounding terminal at the bottom of metal enclosures.
9. Return the insulator to its original position and replace the xxxx .
10. Close the enclosure door.
11. Apply power to the time switch.
