To set up the 'Tool Plus' unit for use with your power tool, follow these steps:
1. Read the operating instructions in the user guide before starting.
2. Ensure that the 'Tool Plus' unit is intended for indoor use in dry locations only.
3. Connect the 'Tool Plus' unit to an AC to DC 5V USB adapter for power. Make sure to use a UL FCC approved adapter and connect it to the rated voltage.
4. Clamp the 'Tool Plus' unit to the power cord of your power tool.
5. The 'Tool Plus' unit detects the status of the power tool by sensing the magnetic field around the power cord when it is turned on or off.
6. If the 'Tool Plus' unit is in Auto Mode, it will transmit a wireless signal to the 'iVAC Pro Switch' to turn on the Dust Collector when the power tool is turned on.
7. When the power tool is turned off, the 'Tool Plus' unit will transmit a signal to the 'iVAC Pro Switch' to turn it off.
8. The range for radio communication between the 'Tool Plus' and the 'iVAC Pro Switch' is forty feet.
9. Make sure not to mount the 'iVAC Pro units' on large metal objects, as this can affect the communication range.
