Setting up the FALMOUTH Wood Cornhole Set is easy and straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a proper setup:
1. Find a suitable playing area: Choose a flat surface with enough space for the cornhole boards to be placed 27 feet apart from each other. Make sure there are no obstacles or hazards in the playing area.
2. Place the cornhole boards: Position the two cornhole boards facing each other, with the holes at the top. The front edges of the boards should be aligned with each other.
3. Measure the distance: Use a measuring tape or the provided string to measure 27 feet from the front edge of one board to the front edge of the other. This is the regulation distance for cornhole gameplay.
4. Secure the boards: If necessary, use the provided stakes or anchors to secure the boards to the ground, ensuring they do not move during gameplay.
5. Distribute the bean bags: Each player or team should receive four bean bags of the same color. The two colors should be easily distinguishable from each other.
6. Determine the playing order: Decide which player or team will go first. This can be done through a coin toss or any other agreed-upon method.
7. Start playing: Each player or team takes turns throwing their bean bags towards the opposite board. The objective is to toss the bags into the hole or land them on the board and score points. Refer to the provided instructions for scoring details and gameplay rules.
