To connect the Fosi Audio BOX X4 to your MM turntable and speakers, follow these steps:
1. Install the 5654W vacuum tubes to the BOX X4.
2. Connect your speakers or headphones to the BOX X4:
- For speakers, use an RCA cable to connect the RCA line output of the BOX X4 to your active (powered) speakers. Alternatively, connect the RCA line output of the BOX X4 to your amplifier using an RCA cable, and then use speaker wire to connect the amplifier to your passive speakers.
- For headphones, use a 3.5mm headphone cable to connect the 3.5mm headphone output of the BOX X4 to your headphones.
3. Connect the audio source to the BOX X4:
- For MM turntable input, use an RCA cable to connect your MM turntable to the RCA inputs of the BOX X4. Also, connect the ground wire of your MM turntable to the grounding post of the BOX X4. Note that if your MM turntable does not require a ground wire, you can omit this step.
- For 3.5mm AUX input, use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect your device to the 3.5mm AUX input of the BOX X4. When the 3.5mm AUX input is connected, the MM input will be automatically interrupted.
4. Connect the power adapter to the BOX X4 and the socket. Turn the Multi-function xxxx (Volume Control/Power Switch) clockwise to power on the BOX X4.
Note: It is recommended to turn on the BOX X4 first, then the amplifier or powered speakers, and finally your turntable or other audio sources.
