To find the IP address and port number of your CCTV42 ANPR IP Camera, you can use the IP Tool provided by CCTV42. Here are the steps:
1. Download and install the IP Tool from the CCTV42 support site.
2. Run the IP Tool on your computer.
3. The IP Tool will scan your network and list all connected IP cameras and DVR/NVRs.
4. Look for the model number of your CCTV42 ANPR IP Camera in the list.
5. Note down the IP address, HTTP port, and Data port associated with your camera.
- The IP address is the network address of your camera.
- The HTTP port is the port number used for accessing the camera's web interface.
- The Data port is the port number used for connecting the camera to viewing software or devices.
6. You can use the IP address and HTTP port to directly connect and view the camera's live feed through the Edge browser on your PC.
7. If you want to add the camera to the NVMS viewing software, you will need the IP address and Data port.
Note: It is recommended to change the default password of your camera for security purposes. The default password is usually "123456". Refer to the camera's user guide for instructions on how to change the password.
