To connect and control multiple LiTECRAFT WashX.432 sw LED Washlights using DMX, you will need a DMX controller. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Set the DMX start address: Press the MENU button on the Washlight to access the menu. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select "DMX Addr" and press ENTER. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the desired DMX start address (e.g., 001-511). Press ENTER to save the setting.
2. Connect the Washlights: Connect the DMX output of the DMX controller to the DMX input of the first Washlight using a standard XLR cable. If you have more than one Washlight, daisy-chain the DMX output of the first Washlight to the DMX input of the next Washlight using additional XLR cables.
3. Set the working mode: Set one Washlight as the master and the others as slaves. To do this, connect the DMX output of the master Washlight to the DMX input of the slave Washlight. Set the slave Washlight to "Slave" mode by selecting "Master/Slave" in the menu and pressing ENTER. The slave Washlight will then accept all settings from the master Washlight.
4. Control the Washlights: Use the DMX controller to send DMX signals to the Washlights. The Washlights will respond according to the DMX start address and the settings on the controller. You can control various parameters such as dimmer, color macros, and more depending on the DMX mode selected.
