To connect the TAKSTAR EA series Professional Power Amplifier to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Power Input: Connect the power cable to the power input on the rear panel of the amplifier. Make sure to use the correct voltage (AC: 220-240V, 50Hz) for your region.
2. Input Source: Connect your audio source (such as a mixer, audio interface, or media player) to the XLR signal inputs on the rear panel of the amplifier. Use a standard XLR cable and connect the positive (+) and negative (-) pins accordingly.
3. Output Connection: Connect your speakers to the amplifier using the SPEAKON output connectors on the rear panel. For stereo operation, connect your left speaker to the CH.1 SPEAKON output and your right speaker to the CH.2 SPEAKON output. For bridge mode, consult the manual for specific instructions.
4. Output Mode Selection: Use the toggle switch on the rear panel to select the desired output mode - Stereo, Parallel, or Bridge. Refer to the manual for more information on each mode.
5. Input Sensitivity Selection: Use the flip switches on the rear panel to adjust the input sensitivity. Flip#4 corresponds to CH.2, and flip#5 corresponds to CH.1. Choose between 1.0V or 1.4V depending on your audio source.
6. Power On: Press the power switch on the front panel to turn on the amplifier. The soft-start anti-surge circuit will engage, and after a few seconds, the amplifier will be in operation status.
Please refer to the TAKSTAR EA series Professional Power Amplifier User Manual for further details and illustrations on the connection process.
