To change the tool on the BOSCH 180-LI GDR Cordless Impact Driver Wrench, follow these steps:
1. Remove the battery from the power tool before carrying out any work on the tool.
2. Make sure the rotational direction switch is set to the center position to protect the power tool from being accidentally switched on.
3. Pull the locking sleeve forward to unlock it.
4. For the GDR 180-LI model: Guide the new application tool into the tool holder up to the stop.
For the GDX 180-LI model: Slide the new application tool onto the square drive of the tool holder.
5. Release the locking sleeve to lock the new application tool securely in place.
6. Ensure that the application tool is connected securely to the tool holder before operating the power tool.
Note: Only use screwdriver bits with a ball catch (DIN 3126-E6.3) for the GDR 180-LI model. Other screwdriver bits can be inserted using a universal bit holder with a ball catch.
