To clean the Zephyr ZPY-E30BS Pyramid 30 Inch Stainless Steel Under-Cabinet Hood, follow these steps:
1. Surface Maintenance: Use warm soapy water and a clean cotton cloth or microfiber cloth to clean the surface of the hood. Rub in the direction of the stainless steel grain. For heavier grease build-up, use a liquid degreaser detergent. After cleaning, use a non-abrasive stainless steel polish/cleaner to polish and buff out the stainless luster and grain.
2. Filter Cleaning: The aluminum mesh filters installed by the factory are intended to filter out residue and grease from cooking. They need to be kept clean. Remove the filters and clean them by hand or in the dishwasher using a non-phosphate detergent. Do not use phosphate detergents or abrasive scrubbing pads. Dry the filters and reinstall them before using the hood.
3. LumiLight LED: In the unlikely event that the LumiLight LED fails, contact Zephyr to order replacement parts. To remove the LED light, remove the entire PAS panel and side panels. Disconnect the LED light quick connector and push in the two side clips on the ends of the LED light. Push the LED light through the light panel opening.
