To adjust the binaurals on the Riester NSL 4201 stethoscope, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the binaurals are adjusted to the anatomically correct angle. The binaurals should be worn so that they slightly sit in front.
2. The angle of the binaurals can be adjusted by turning them individually. The ear tips should rest completely at the same angle as the external auditory canal to block out external noises.
3. If the contact pressure of the binaurals is too weak, take both binaurals and press them together. If the contact pressure is too strong, take both binaurals and expand them.
Note: The Riester NSL 4201 stethoscope comes with pre-adjusted binaurals, but the contact pressure can be adjusted individually if needed.
