To mount the RF VENUE D-ARC Diversity Architectural Antenna, follow these steps:
1. Determine the mounting location: Decide whether you want to mount the antenna on a junction box, ceiling, or wall.
2. Junction Box Mounting: If you choose to mount the antenna on a junction box, use screws and wall anchors in at least 2 of the "J" holes. Make sure to select screws that are suitable for your junction box.
3. Ceiling Mounting: If you prefer ceiling mounting, use screws and wall anchors or toggles in at least 2 of the "L" holes. For this type of mounting, you will need 1/8" toggle bolts that are 2" long and 1/4" x 1 1/4" OD fender washers.
4. Wall Mounting: If you opt for wall mounting, you have two options. You can either use screws and wall anchors in the "K" holes, or use screws and wall anchors in at least 2 of the "L" holes. For keyhole "K" holes, use #6 or #8 screws. For "L" holes, use 7/8" drywall anchors and #6 x 1" pan head sheet metal screws.
5. Orient the cable cutout: Ensure that the cable cutout on the antenna bracket or junction box is positioned correctly for your cable routing needs.
6. Connect the coax cables: Connect both cables on the Diversity Architectural Antenna to coax cables. Route the cables through the cutout in the side of the bracket or the junction box cutout.
7. Mount the antenna: Use the two xxxx holes on the sides of the bracket to mount the antenna securely.
Please note that the mounting hardware mentioned in the manual (screws, wall anchors, toggles, washers, etc.) is not included with the antenna and should be obtained separately.
