To install and set up the ALORAIR Cleanshield 550 HEPA Air Scrubber, please follow the steps below:
1. Unpacking: Remove the unit from its packaging and ensure that all components are included.
2. Placement: Choose a suitable location for the air scrubber. It is recommended to place it in the center of the room or near the source of contamination for optimal performance.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to a 110/120V AC, 60 Hz electrical outlet. Ensure that the outlet is grounded properly.
4. Power On/Off: The air scrubber has a fan that can be operated in two modes: with the fan off and with the fan on. When the fan is off, it consumes 10.0 Amps, and when the fan is on, it consumes 7.5 Amps. The fan has two speed settings: high and low. The high speed draws 2.5 Amps, while the low speed draws 1.6 Amps.
