To connect the TREATLIFE Smart Outdoor Plug to your home Wi-Fi network, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the switch is connected to power and your phone is connected to your Wi-Fi router and has internet access. Note that the switch only supports 2.4GHz networks, so if you were previously connected to a 5GHz network, switch to the 2.4GHz network.
2. For Apple iOS devices:
- Press and hold the mechanical on/off button on the switch for 5 seconds until the red indicator light blinks.
- Open the TreatLife app and click on "Profile."
- Tap on "HomeKit Information" and then "Add Homekit Device" (make sure the red LED indicator is flashing).
- Scan the QR code provided.
3. For Android devices:
- Press and hold the mechanical on/off button on the switch for 5 seconds until the red indicator light blinks.
- Tap on "AP Mode" in the top right corner of the app.
- Tap on "Confirm indicator slowly blink."
- Enter your Wi-Fi password.
- Open WLAN settings on your phone and connect to the "TreatLife-XXX" network.
- Go back to the app and continue adding the device, then wait for the connection to complete.
