To install the Lumineux 430378 Avon PRO 4CCT Fire Rated Downlight, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the mains power to avoid the risk of electric shock.
2. Verify that the supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information. It is important to ensure that the installation is suitable for the total load of the luminaire(s).
3. The supply cable, fuses/circuit breakers must be correctly rated for the electrical load and consider any transient inrush currents that may occur.
4. Do not perform insulation strength or resistance tests on installed luminaires connected.
5. Isolate the circuit.
6. Drill a 70mm hole cut out for the downlight.
7. Strip the cable sleeves to reveal 15mm wire. Push the wires into the connector and push the clamps downwards to secure the wires.
8. Attach the connector to the other half on the light fitting. Twist the bezel to select the CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) option by moving the switch across to the desired setting.
9. Grip the spring clamps and move them vertically.
10. Insert the downlight into the pre-drilled hole, and the clamps will spring back and secure the light fitting. Repeat this step for any other downlights, then connect the power on.
Please note that these instructions are a summary and should be followed in conjunction with the complete instruction manual provided with the product. It is important to have the installation performed by a qualified electrician or competent person, following current building and IET wiring regulations.
