To install and set up the Maacurco Gas Boiler Controller, follow these steps:
1. Mount the controller: Choose a suitable location for the controller, ensuring it is easily accessible and within the recommended temperature range of -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F). Avoid mounting in corners and ensure good air movement in the area.
2. Connect the detectors: The Maacurco Gas Boiler Controller can support up to 4 detectors. Connect the detectors to the controller using the appropriate wiring and ensure they are properly installed and calibrated according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Connect the boilers/appliances: The controller can shut down up to 8 boilers/appliances with dedicated relays. Connect the relays to the boilers/appliances following the provided wiring diagram and ensure proper electrical connections.
4. Set alarm setpoints: Use calibration and test gases to test the alarm setpoints of the gas detection system. Adjust the setpoints as needed to ensure proper detection and response to gas leaks or high levels of carbon monoxide.
5. Test the system: Perform a thorough test of the gas detection and control system to verify its proper operation. Test the alarms, relays, and any audible/visual notifications to ensure they are functioning correctly.
6. Demonstration and training: Provide training to maintenance personnel on how to adjust, operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain the gas detection and control system. Use the provided calibration and test kits for regular maintenance and compliance with manufacturer's recommendations.
