To install the NICOR DLG4-10 Recessed LED Gimbal Downlight, follow these steps:
1. Carefully unpack the downlight from its packaging and inspect it for any defects caused during shipping.
2. If you are using an LED housing with an IDEAL connector, mate the quick connectors.
3. If you are using an incandescent housing, xxxx the Edison base socket string into the socket. Mate the downlight connector into the Edison (or GU24) base connector.
4. Squeeze the torsion springs together and install them into the torsion spring brackets inside the recessed housing.
5. Carefully route the wires into the housing and push the downlight upward, ensuring it is flush with the ceiling surface.
