To install the batteries in the Carlon RC3196 Battery Door Chime Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Open the chime case by removing the bottom xxxx and remove the front cover.
2. While holding the front cover, disconnect the connector for the battery wires. Set the cover down.
3. Install (or replace) the four new "C" batteries in the battery holders. Make sure to match the polarity of each battery (+ and -) with the markings on each battery holder position.
4. Reconnect the battery wire connector.
5. Re-install the front cover and secure it with the front cover xxxx .
Note: The Carlon RC3196 Battery Door Chime Receiver requires four C-cell alkaline batteries, which are not included.
