To set the temperature for the fridge compartment, use the fridge temperature setting button on the control panel. The recommended setting for the refrigerator compartment is +4°C. You can change the fridge temperature value by pressing the fridge temperature setting button in a cyclical way.
For the freezer compartment, the Hotpoint H5X 82O SX Freestanding Fridge Freezer features a Super freeze function for rapid freezing of fresh food. Press the Super freeze button when you need to freeze fresh food, and the Super freeze indicator light will come on. We recommend pressing the Super freeze button 24 hours before putting the food in to prepare the freezer compartment for the best possible freezing conditions. The Super freeze function is automatically deactivated after 48 hours, or you can disable it manually by pressing the Super freeze button again.
Please note that after turning on the appliance, it may take 4-6 hours for it to reach the correct food storage temperature.
