The frequency of cleaning or replacing the filters in the Rowenta PU8080F0 Pure Home Air Purifier depends on the type of filter. Here are the recommended intervals:
1. Pre-filter: Clean every 2 to 4 weeks with a dry cloth or vacuum. Do not use water. This filter helps capture dust, hair, fur, lint, and other large particles.
2. 3-in-1 Filter (Pre-filter, Active carbon filter, Allergy+ filter): Replace every 12 months. This filter helps capture volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, gases, fine particles (PM2.5), pollen, dust mites, animal allergens, mold, bacteria, and viruses.
3. NanoCaptur+ Filter: Replace when the color changes (refer to the color chart on the filter). This filter specifically targets formaldehyde.
