To reverse the doors on your RF 1012 DC S refrigerator, please follow these steps:
1. Reverse the Control Panel Box:
a. Open the refrigerator and freezer doors 120 degrees or more.
b. Unscrew and remove the control panel box.
c. Disconnect the wiring harness.
d. Remove the base plate.
e. Remove the control panel.
f. Rotate the control box 180 degrees.
g. Reinstall the control panel on the control box.
h. xxxx the control box onto the other side.
2. Reverse the doors and handles:
a. Unscrew and remove the upper hinge pin.
b. Pull the door(s) out about an inch and then up to separate from the bottom hinge pin.
c. Remove the handle parts from the door(s).
d. Rotate the door(s) 180 degrees.
e. Reinstall the handle parts to the door on the other side.
3. Remove and Reinstall the Magnet Housing Assembly:
a. Unscrew and remove the magnet housing assembly from the refrigerator door.
b. Rotate the door 180 degrees.
c. Reinstall the magnet housing assembly on the other side.
4. Remove hinges and pins:
a. Remove the right upper hinge and hinge hole plug.
b. Rotate the hinge hole plug 180 degrees and reinstall it in position R1.
c. Take the left upper hinge from the accessory bag and install it in position L1.
d. Take the upper hinge from the accessory bag and install it in position L2.
e. Remove the bottom hinge pin from position R2 and reinstall it in position L2.
f. Remove the bottom hinge from position R2 and reinstall it in position L3.
g. Remove the upper hinge from position R3 and reinstall it in position L4.
h. Remove the bottom hinge from position R4 and reinstall it in position L4.
i. Remove the bottom hinge from position R4.
j. Reinstall the latch plate in position R2 and R3.
k. Reinstall the doors.
