To program the DIGITEL NEWEL 3 Universal Multi-Function Controller using the keys on the front panel, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the "on" button for 3 seconds to access the parameterization mode.
2. The display will show "PAS" followed by a number. This indicates that you need to enter a password. The default password for all three levels is 0.
3. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to increase or decrease the password value. Press the "on" button to validate the password. If the password is accepted, the display will show the symbol of the first parameter for 1 second, followed by its value.
4. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to change the value of the parameter. Hold down either button for 3 seconds or more to change the value more rapidly. Release the button when the desired value is approached, then press it a few more times briefly to achieve the exact value.
5. Press the "on" button to validate the parameter and move on to the next parameter. Press the "on" button without changing the value to move to the next parameter without validating.
6. To return to the previous parameter, hold down the "-" button and press the "on" button until the required parameter is shown.
7. Parameters with similar functions are grouped together in menus. To move from one menu to another, press the "on" button for 3 seconds. The menus will scroll down, and you can release the button when you reach the desired menu.
8. To save changes and exit the programming mode, press and hold the "on" button for 3 seconds.
9. If no key is pressed for five minutes, the device will automatically return to normal mode, deleting all changes and restoring the previous parameter values.
Please refer to the user manual for specific programming diagrams and detailed instructions for each mode of operation.
Note: It is important to ensure that all parameters are correctly programmed for the intended configuration and use before connecting and activating the module. Incorrect parameters can cause dysfunction and damage to the installation.
