To install the Miele PWM 916 EL-RH Plan Commercial Washing Machine, follow these steps:
1. Transport the washing machine to its installation site using a suitable pallet truck and remove the transport packaging.
2. Set up the washing machine on a completely level, horizontal, and firm surface with the minimum stated load bearing capacity. A concrete floor is the most suitable installation surface.
3. Ensure a minimum distance of 400 mm is maintained between the rear of the appliance and the rear wall.
4. Secure the feet of the washing machine to the fastening points on the floor using the fittings supplied. If the installation site has a different floor type, suitable fastening materials must be ordered separately.
5. Align the washing machine vertically and horizontally using the adjustable feet and a spirit level. Tighten the lock nuts to prevent the feet from adjusting themselves.
6. The washing machine must be secured to a concrete plinth if desired. The concrete plinth must be stable and capable of withstanding the burden or force from the washing machine.
7. The electrical connection must only be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable electrical regulations and standards. The required voltage, connected load, and fusing rating can be found on the data plate on the washing machine.
8. Connect the washing machine to the water supply using the inlet hoses provided. For the cold water connection, a stopcock with a 3/4" external thread is required. For the hot water connection, a stopcock with a 1" male thread is required. If there is no hot water supply, the hot water inlet hose must be connected to the cold water supply using a Y-piece.
9. In the case of washing machines with a drain valve, use an HT DN 70 angle connector to drain the machine directly into the waste water system or into an on-site floor drain. Ensure proper drainage and ventilation to prevent blockages.
10. Up to 12 dispensing pumps can be connected to the washing machine. Follow the instructions in the manual for connecting and calibrating the dispensing pumps.
11. Optional accessories such as a hard water kit, Connector Box, WiFi/LAN interface, plinth, and payment device can be installed if desired.
