To connect the WyreStorm RX-70-4K-ARC v2 receiver to your display, follow these steps:
1. Connect the HDMI Out on the receiver to an input on your display using an HDMI cable from a high-quality brand such as WyreStorm Express.
2. Use a Cat5e/6/6a cable to connect the 8-pin RJ-45 female plug on the receiver to the HDBT In jack. Make sure the cable is no longer than 70m/230ft for 4K resolution or 100m/328ft for 1080p resolution.
3. If you are using an IR control system, you can optionally place an IR emitter onto the display device near the device's IR sensor and connect it to the IR TX port on the receiver.
4. If you are using RS-232 pass-through, connect the 3-pin connector to the RS-232 port on the receiver and the opposite end to a port on the device being controlled.
5. If you are using ARC (Audio Return Channel) using the display device's digital audio output, you can connect a TOSLINK cable from the display device to the S/PDIF In on the receiver. Alternatively, you can configure the ARC and audio inputs/outputs using the switch settings based on your connected devices. Refer to the "Audio Return Input Settings" section in the manual for more details.
Please note that it is important not to connect or disconnect the HDMI or HDBaseT connections while the transmitter or receiver is powered on to avoid any potential damage to the units or connected devices.
