To clean the griddle top on your VULCAN VGMT36C V Series HDR Gas Range, follow these steps:
1. After each use, clean the griddle with a wire brush or flexible spatula to remove any food residue or grease.
2. On a daily basis, thoroughly clean the backsplash, sides, and front of the griddle. Remove the grease drawer, empty it, and wash it out using a mild detergent or soap.
3. Clean the griddle surface thoroughly using a griddle stone, wire brush, or stainless steel wool. Rub with the grain of the metal while the griddle is still warm. You can use a detergent on the plate surface to help clean it, but make sure to thoroughly remove any detergent residue.
4. Clean the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth. If there are any discolorations, use a non-abrasive cleaner and always rub with the grain of the metal.
It is important to keep the griddle plate surface clean to ensure even cooking and to prevent carbonized grease from hindering heat transfer and sticking to the food. Regular cleaning and maintenance will help maintain the performance and safety of your griddle top.
