To replace the fuse on the BLACK+DECKER BFF16B 16 Inch Floor Fan, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the fan and disconnect the plug from the power source.
2. Open the fuse cover located on the side of the power cord plug by sliding it toward the plug blades.
3. Carefully remove the fuse by taking a small tool and slowly prying out one end. Once you have one end out, slowly pry out the other end.
4. To avoid the risk of fire, replace the fuse only with a 2.5 Amp, 125V fuse.
5. Close the fuse cover by sliding it toward the top of the plug.
Note: If the attachment plug is damaged, do not replace it. The plug contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. In this case, discard the product.
