The Conex B-Press Reduction T-Piece is suitable for various applications and service conditions. Here are the recommended applications and service conditions as provided in the instruction manual:
1. Drinking water installations (EN 806): Suitable for drinking water with a maximum temperature of 95°C and a maximum pressure of 10 bar.
2. Hot water heaters (EN 12828): Suitable for heating water with a maximum temperature of 110°C and a maximum pressure of 6 bar.
3. Local and district heating tubes: Suitable for heating and district heating water with a maximum temperature of 110°C and a maximum pressure of 10 bar.
4. Thermal solar systems* with permanent operating temperatures ≤ 110°C (EN 12975/12976): Suitable for water and water-glycol mixtures with a maximum temperature of 110°C and a maximum pressure of 6 bar. The temperature range for thermal solar systems is -35 to 110°C.
5. Chilled water and cooling water systems: Suitable for water and water-glycol mixtures with a maximum temperature of -10°C and a maximum pressure of 10 bar.
6. Rainwater harvesting systems: Suitable for rainwater from cisterns with a maximum temperature of 25°C and a maximum pressure of 10 bar.
7. Industrial and processing water: Suitable for prepared, softened, partially and partially de-ionized water with a pH range of 6.5 to 9.5. The maximum temperature is 95°C and the maximum pressure is 10 bar.
8. Pipeline in shipbuilding (≤ 54mm): Suitable for water with a pH range of 6.5 to 9.5. The maximum temperature is 95°C and the maximum pressure is 16 bar.
