To configure the PROmesh P9+ Industrial Ethernet Switch via the web user interface, please follow these steps:
1. Download the Service Tool software from the Indu-Sol website and install it on your client PC (Windows). Make sure you are using the latest version of the software.
2. Connect your client PC to one of the data ports (P1 - P9) on the PROmesh P9+ switch using a suitable data line.
3. Ensure that your client PC and the PROmesh P9+ switch are located in the same IP address range and IP subnet. For the initial configuration, you need to assign a suitable IP address to the switch. Use the already installed Service Tool to assign the IP address and subnet mask.
4. After assigning the IP address and subnet mask, you can access the web user interface of the PROmesh P9+ switch. Open your web browser and enter the IP address of the switch in the browser's address bar. Alternatively, you can right-click on the corresponding list entry in the context menu of the Service Tool and select "to website" to directly access the web user interface.
5. The web user interface will open in your standard browser. Here, you can configure the device-specific functions of the PROmesh P9+ switch.
6. Make sure to change the factory-set password when logging in for the first time. It is your responsibility to document this password and protect it against unauthorized access.
