To connect the TOA NF-2S Window Intercom System, please follow these steps:
1. Install the Window Intercom System by referring to the instruction manual for safety precautions.
2. Make sure to set the Base Unit's headset switch to ON if you are using a headset.
3. Position the two Sub-Units at speaker face height. If mounting to a partition, use the Sub-Units' built-in magnets to sandwich (mount on either side of) the partition.
4. Ensure that the Sub-Units are not positioned too far away from the speaker, as it may affect the accuracy of voice pickup.
5. To prevent howling, mount the Sub-Units at least 15 cm away from the edge of the partition.
6. Adjust the sound volume of the Base Unit. The recommended settings for the volume controls are provided in the instruction manual. Avoid setting the volume too high to prevent howling.
7. If no sound is being output, check if the MIC MUTE button is switched ON and if all connection cables are firmly connected.
8. If you need to create a new label for the Sub-Units, download the template provided on the TOA DATA Library website.
9. If the speaker is too far from the Sub-Unit, you can change the mounting position of the Sub-Units using the supplied metal plates or use a commercially available stand to install them closer to the speaker(s).
10. For increased privacy, you can set the Base Unit's rear panel LOW CUT switch to ON to prevent sound from being heard outside the periphery of the Sub-Units.
11. If you want to mute the sound output with an external switch, you can connect a commercially available switch or similar device to the external control input terminal of MUTE IN. Refer to the instruction manual for more details.
12. For cable arrangement during installation, use the supplied mounting bases and zip ties to neatly arrange the cables.
13. The instruction manual can be accessed on the TOA DATA Library website. You can download the manual using the QR code provided in the manual.
Please refer to the TOA NF-2S Window Intercom System User Guide for more detailed instructions and illustrations.
