To install the AURORA EN-FLC30 Volta 50W Adjustable IP65 Floodlight, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the installation is carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the latest edition of the National wiring regulations.
2. The floodlight operates on an input voltage of 100-240V 50/60Hz AC.
3. Note that these luminaires are not dimmable.
4. The floodlight is IP65 rated, which means it is protected against low-pressure water jets.
5. If you are installing the floodlight in coastal areas, be aware that the powder-coated finish may degrade over time due to the environment. It is corrosion-resistant, but long-term exposure to coastal conditions may affect its appearance.
6. Do not install the floodlight in chlorinated areas such as swimming pools, saunas, or steam rooms.
7. Avoid installing the luminaire near air conditioners or central heating units, as this may affect its operation.
8. The floodlight does not have any serviceable parts.
9. Caution: Do not stare directly into the LEDs while they are in operation, as they are high-power and may be harmful to the eyes.
10. The floodlight is classified as Class 1 and must be properly earthed during installation.
To install the floodlight:
1. Fix the luminaire out of reach (at least 2.5m) using two screws of the appropriate size.
2. Connect the mains supply cable to the terminals as follows:
- LIVE: Connect the red or brown wire to the terminal marked L.
- NEUTRAL: Connect the black or blue wire to the terminal marked N.
- EARTH: Connect the green/yellow wire to the terminal marked @. Ensure proper earthing.
