To engage the blade for cutting with the martor Secunorm 185 Robust Safety Knife, you need to use the slider. Simply push the slider forward to extend the blade for cutting. It is important to note that you should always remove your thumb from the slider after engaging the blade to ensure automatic blade retraction after cutting. This safety feature helps protect you from accidental cuts. For best results, when cutting plastic strapping band, it is recommended to cut diagonally at a 45° angle.
