To use the medisana NM 868 Neck Massager, follow these steps:
1. Check the power supply unit, cable, and massager for any damage before each use. Do not use a defective unit.
2. If using the power supply unit, insert the plug into connection 5 on the control unit and plug it into a socket. If using batteries, undo the zip on the back of the appliance, insert four 1.5V AA LR6 batteries as indicated in the battery compartment, and close the compartment.
3. Place the massager around your neck, ensuring it has a sufficient hold on your shoulders.
4. Press the MASSAGE button to switch on the massage function. The appliance will start working at high intensity. Press the MASSAGE button again to change to a lower level. Press the MASSAGE button once more to switch the appliance off.
5. Press the HEAT button to switch on the heat function. The LED indicator will light up. Press the HEAT button again to switch the heat function off.
6. Guide your hands through the hand straps on the right and left sides to stabilize the device and adjust the massage intensity by pulling on the straps.
7. After 15 minutes of constant use, the device will automatically switch off.
