To clean the OBH NORDICA 7938 Food Sealer, follow these steps:
1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Do not dip the appliance or its cord into water or other liquids.
3. Do not use scouring cleaners as they may damage the material.
4. Use a moist cloth and some mild washing-up liquid to remove food particles and dust from around the appliance's components. Wipe dry with a towel or similar.
5. Clean the appliance's sealing unit, vacuum channel, and gasket by wiping them off with a damp cloth.
6. For cleaning the vacuum bags, wash them in warm water and a little washing-up liquid. If using a dishwasher, turn the vacuum bags inside out and place them in the upper basket so that the entire bag's surface comes in contact with water.
7. Let the vacuum bags dry properly after cleaning.
Note: Never re-use vacuum bags that have contained raw meat, raw fish, or fat. Also, do not re-use bags that have been used in a microwave oven, simmering water, or for sous vide cooking.
