Loading the HILTI DX 450 Powder Actuated Nail Gun is a simple process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Hold the fastening tool laid flat on its side, with the lettering facing up.
2. Insert the fastener, tip first, into the loading chamber of the cycling lever.
3. Pull to release the cycling lever from its retainer and flip the cycling lever forward through 180°.
4. Slide the loading lever all the way toward the fastening tool. This positions the fastener correctly in the fastener guide.
5. Slide the loading lever back to its initial position.
6. Flip the cycling lever back to its initial position until it engages in the retainer.
7. Push the cartridge strip, narrow end first, into the cartridge barrel (insert) until the full length of the cartridge strip is inside the grip.
8. Set the driving energy using the adjusting xxxx for driving energy.
