To connect the ULTIMA Tapio Pro 2.0 Channel Soundbar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. HDMI ARC Connection:
- Check if your TV has an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port.
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not provided) to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the ARC port on the soundbar.
- Turn on the HDMI ARC mode on the soundbar using the remote control or the button on the soundbar.
2. Optical Connection:
- Check if your TV has an optical output port.
- Connect one end of the provided optical cable to the optical output port on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the OPTICAL IN port on the soundbar.
- Turn on the Optical mode on the soundbar using the remote control or the button on the soundbar.
- If there is no sound, make sure to turn on the PCM settings of your TV.
3. AUX Connection:
- Check if your TV has a 3.5mm audio output port.
- If your TV only has a 3.5mm female output, you will need to purchase a 3.5mm-3.5mm audio cable separately.
- Connect one end of the provided AUX audio cable to the AUX IN port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the AUX audio cable to the audio output port on your TV.
- Turn on the AUX mode on the soundbar using the remote control or the button on the soundbar.
Note: Before connecting, make sure to check the available ports on your TV and choose the appropriate connection method. Also, refer to your TV's user manual for specific instructions on how to enable the audio output for the chosen connection method.
