To connect the USB 3.1 Type C Laptop Mini Dock to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your computer has a USB 3.1 Type C port with support for DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
2. Connect the USB 3.1 Type C male connector of the Mini Dock to the USB 3.1 Type C port of your computer.
3. Any required drivers will be automatically downloaded from the internet.
4. Connect the HDMI socket and/or VGA socket of the Mini Dock to the HDMI/VGA port of your monitor or projector using appropriate male-to-male cables (not included).
5. Use a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable (not included) to connect the Mini Dock to your network.
6. Additional USB devices can be connected to the USB Type A ports of the Mini Dock. USB 3.1 Gen1 5Gbps data transfer rates are supported, and legacy USB 2.0/1.1 devices may also be connected.
7. The Mini Dock also features SD and microSD card slots for accessing SD and microSD cards.
8. If you want to charge your Macbook or Notebook using the Mini Dock, connect a compatible USB Type C power supply (not included) to the Power Delivery port of the Mini Dock.
Please note that the Mini Dock requires a USB 3.1 Type-C port with support for DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video functionality.
