To mount the tp-link Ceiling Mount EAP on the wall, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary screws for mounting. For EAP115, use 3 screws that comply with ANSI B1.1 4# or 6# standard and are longer than 7.5 mm. For EAP225 / EAP235 / EAP245 / EAP265 HD, use 3 screws that comply with ANSI B1.1 4# standard and are longer than 7 mm. For EAP610 / EAP620 HD / EAP650 / EAP660 HD / EAP670, use 4 screws that comply with ANSI B1.1 4# standard and are longer than 15 mm.
2. Choose a suitable location on the wall for mounting the device. Ensure that it is within range of your network and provides optimal coverage.
3. Hold the device against the wall at the desired location and mark the positions for the screws.
4. Drill holes at the marked positions using a suitable drill bit.
5. Insert the screws into the drilled holes, leaving a portion of the xxxx exposed for mounting.
6. Align the mounting holes on the device with the exposed portion of the screws.
7. Gently slide the device down onto the screws until it is securely mounted on the wall.
8. Ensure that the device is level and tightly secured to the wall.
9. Connect the necessary cables and power supply to the device according to the instructions provided in the user manual.
Note: It is recommended to use the original screws provided in the package for mounting to ensure safety and stability.
