To install the Lorex ACCJ7R3B/ACCJ7R3W Junction Box, please follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: Ensure that the installation area can support the total weight of the camera and accessories.
2. Prepare for conduit installation (if applicable): If you plan to use conduit, you must use thread seal tape to ensure a proper seal. The recommended conduit size is G3/4".
3. Mount the junction box: Attach the junction box to a solid surface using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure it is securely fastened.
4. Connect the camera: Depending on the type of camera you have, follow the appropriate instructions below:
- Bullet camera: Attach the bullet camera to the junction box by aligning the mounting holes on the camera with the corresponding holes on the junction box. Use the provided screws to secure the camera in place.
- Dome camera: For dome cameras, the junction box is typically installed above the ceiling or on a wall. Connect the dome camera to the junction box using the appropriate wiring.
5. Complete the installation: Once the camera is securely attached to the junction box, ensure all connections are properly made and secure any wiring or cables. Test the camera to ensure it is functioning correctly.
