To use the Trapzilla GS-1 Grab Sampler, follow these steps:
1. Purchase a paint stick from any home improvement store. This will be used to lower the grab sampler into the sampling port or main tank.
2. Attach the 1-liter jar to the carrier of the grab sampler. The jar should fit snugly into the carrier.
3. Lower the grab sampler into the sampling port or main tank using the paint stick. Make sure the carrier is set to the correct angle by tightening the wing xxxx using a nut driver.
4. Once the grab sampler reaches the bottom of the tank, you can take an accurate reading of the solids that have settled.
5. To release the sample, simply touch the pin extending from the bottom section of the grab sampler against a hard surface. This will open the check valve and drain the sample.
It is important to note that the Trapzilla GS-1 Grab Sampler is designed to accurately capture solids in a grease interceptor tank. By following these steps, you will be able to take accurate readings and determine the health and pumping service of your grease interceptor.
