To install the Atlantic AV24HB-88826 24 Inch Aura Vase, follow these steps:
1. Select and install the reservoir: Determine where and how you want to display the vase and follow the installation instructions included with the basins.
2. Provide clearance for plumbing: The vase is plumbed from below and will require at least 2½” of clearance for the supply line. Make provisions to accommodate the pipe and fittings while supporting the vase. You can elevate the vase using the Atlantic ECORISE12 or landscape blocks set side by side with a space between for the supply line. After installation, you can conceal the blocks and supply line with soil, gravel, or mulch.
3. Plumbing the vase: The vase features dual inlets in the base, one at the center and one off-center. The center inlet is typically used for incoming water flow. Use a minimum 1” I.D tubing for optimal water flow. Attach a 1½” male threaded fitting of your choice to the 1½” female threaded inlet using thread sealant or silicone. Thread the fitting into the inlet by hand until tight and finish off with a half turn from a wrench. Connect the supply line from the pump to the fitting on the bottom of the vase. Set the vase right side up on the base, adjust the supply line as needed, and check for level. Shim as needed to ensure the vase is level in all directions.
4. Installation of CSEAL15 Cord Seal Fitting (optional): If you want to install a light inside the vase, the Cord Seal Fitting (CSF) allows the light cord to pass out of the vase through the unused 1½" female threaded inlet, underwater, without leakage. Install the CSF inside any 1½" Sch40 female socket. Follow the instructions included with the Cord Seal Fitting to complete the installation.
