To determine if you need to use the SoClean Hose Sleeve, you need to check the diameter of your hose. The Hose Sleeve is required if you are using a 12mm hose. It is not compatible with hoses that have a diameter of 15mm or larger. If you see visible space around the hose when placed in the hose slot of the SoClean, it may indicate that you are using a 12mm hose and require the Hose Sleeve to be installed.
If you determine that you have a 15mm hose and the SoClean is still not operating properly, it is recommended to contact Customer Care at 866-501-3705 for further assistance.
To use the Hose Sleeve, follow these steps:
1. Position the Hose Sleeve approximately 2 to 3 inches from the connector end of the hose.
2. Slide the hose onto the Nub side of the Hose Sleeve until it "clicks" into place between two of the hose ribs.
3. Close the Hose Sleeve.
4. Line up the Hose Sleeve with the gasket and place it in the Hose Slot of the SoClean.
5. Shut the lid of the SoClean.
Please note that only one Hose Sleeve should be used at a time, and it should provide a snug fit around the hose when placed into the hose slot and the lid is closed. If there is space around the hose and a snug fit is not achieved, the SoClean will not operate properly.
