To install the TRIDONIC 28003540 basicDIM Wireless G2 Module, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the mains voltage is switched off before making any connections.
2. Use 0.2 - 1.5 mm² solid or stranded electrical wires for the mains supply/DALI terminals and 0.14 - 0.5 mm² for the push-button terminals.
3. Strip the wire 8.5 – 9.5 mm from the end.
4. Connect the input and outputs correctly. The mains input connector is marked with the letters L and N.
5. The module is compatible with all Android 4.4 (KitKat) or later, iPhone 4S (iOS 5.0) or later, and iPad 3 (iOS 5.1) or later devices.
6. The device is equipped with an integrated DALI power supply, so no external DALI supply is needed.
7. The module has a freely configurable push-button input and supports up to 4 DALI addresses and a maximum of 5 loads.
8. The radio transceiver operates at frequencies between 2.4 – 2.483 GHz with a maximum output power of +4 dBm.
9. The module has a rated supply voltage of 220 – 240 V and a mains frequency of 50/60 Hz.
10. The operating temperature range is -20 ... +70 °C, with a tc point of 80 °C. The storage temperature range is -25 ... +75 °C.
11. The module has a dimension of 80.7 x 30 x 15.3 mm and a protection rating of IP20.
12. The wiring diagram for DALI connections is provided, with a maximum wiring length of 5 m using integrated DALI power supply and a cross-section of 1 mm².
13. Ensure to follow safety instructions, including having the installation carried out by specialist staff, switching off the mains supply before handling the device, and observing relevant safety and accident prevention regulations.
