To connect the WINKHAUS BXP BS Programming Device to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect the plug-in power supply unit to the BXP device. The device will start automatically.
2. Make sure that the programming device's drivers have been properly installed. The drivers are usually automatically installed when you install the administration software. If not, you can find the drivers on the attached installation CD.
3. Connect the programming device to your computer using the attached USB cable.
4. Launch the electronic locking system administration software on your computer and follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: The software will check if a firmware update is available for your programming device. If there is, the update must be installed. Make sure there are no open transactions (data) in the programming device memory before installing the firmware update.
Once connected, you can use the administration software to manage and program the blueSmart components.
