To properly secure the inflatable, follow these steps:
1. Find a flat area of either grass or gravel for your product. Avoid setting up the inflatable on a slope as it may prevent proper inflation and pose a safety hazard.
2. Lay the inflatable out on the ground with the fan on the back side. Ensure that the deflation zipper on the back is closed.
3. Plug the fan into a Class A GFCI-protected receptacle to start inflating the inflatable. During the first inflation, help the inflatable inflate properly by positioning all extremities correctly and untangling any twists.
4. For taller inflatables, connect the tie downs to the upper fabric or metal loops before fully inflating. This will prevent the loops from being too high to reach later.
5. Once fully inflated, locate all the tie-down points around the base. Place a stake through each loop and press the stakes about 2/3 of the way into the ground. These stakes help hold the inflatable upright and prevent it from being moved by the wind.
6. For inflatables under 9 feet tall, install at least three upper tie downs. For inflatables over 10 feet tall, install four or more upper tie downs, depending on the size of the inflatable.
7. Attach each rope to a clip and attach the clip onto the upper fabric or metal loops. If clips are not included, tie each rope directly to the loop. Tie the ropes to additional ground stakes and secure them about 2/3 of the way into the ground.
8. The angle of the rope to the ground should be 45 degrees. To achieve this angle, the stake distance from the inflatable should be roughly equal to the loop height on the inflatable.
9. To ensure proper positioning, install the upper tie downs according to the provided graphic. Two of the side tie downs must angle forward by at least 30 degrees. Adjust stakes as needed to ensure the inflatable is fully upright and positioned correctly.
10. Once the inflatable is correctly positioned and all stakes have been placed, push all the stakes fully into the ground for a secure installation.
Remember to read and follow the complete installation guide provided with the product for detailed instructions and safety precautions.
