To set up and use the AUDIBAX Haze 1200 Fazer Machine, follow these steps:
1. Location: Choose a location that is easy to fill the tank and ensure it is at least 100 cm away from inflammable materials. You can also hang the unit using the supplied holder and fixing screws.
2. Installation: Unpack the fazer machine and connect the remote control to the connector on the back of the fogger. Do not connect the net cable yet. Fill the fluid tank using a funnel. Plug the unit into a mains outlet to automatically switch on the heating element.
3. Warm-up: Depending on the room temperature, it takes about 4 minutes for the unit to reach its working temperature. The thermostat will click, and the LED on the manual control will light up. Push the switch once to produce fog.
4. Continuous Fog: Once the fazer machine has reached its working temperature (LED is lit), it can produce fog continuously. It is recommended to produce haze with small pauses in between to maintain the temperature and prevent the thermostat from switching off.
5. Fluid Level: Always ensure there is enough liquid in the tank. Using the fazer machine without liquid can permanently damage the unit. If the unit generates less haze or the pump makes a rattling sound, turn off the unit, check the fluid level, fill the tank if empty, and check for hose and filter blockages.
6. Timer Remote Control: Connect the remote control to the connector on the back of the fogger. After the warm-up time, the LED on the remote will light up. Use the yellow button to set the interval, duration, and volume control for timed fog production. Use the red button for continuous fog production. Use the green button for immediate 100% smoke production.
7. DMX Control: Connect the fazer machine directly to a DMX controller or a DMX loop with multiple DMX effects. Use the DIP switch on the rear panel to set the start address. Make sure there are no overlapping channels used.
8. Cleaning: Run a clean procedure in a well-ventilated area. Remove fog liquid from the tank and add cleaning solution. Switch on the fazer machine and wait for it to warm up. Press the button to pump the cleaning solution through the machine until the tank is empty. Refill the tank with liquid smoke.
