To install the Integral LED IP20 Emergency Conversion Kit, please follow the steps outlined in the installation guide provided with the product. Here is a summary of the installation process:
1. Ensure that the AC/mains power is disconnected and cannot be reconnected during installation.
2. Connect the LED charge indicator and test switch provided to the emergency converter as indicated in the installation guide.
3. Mark the installation date on the product.
4. Fit the LED indicator and test button in a suitable position, then fix the product in the ceiling.
5. Turn on the mains power supply.
6. A green LED indicator light will be present to show that the batteries are charging. It may take up to 24 hours for the batteries to fully charge. Ensure the fittings have received a full charge before testing.
7. If there is power supplied to the product and the LED indicator light is off, it indicates a battery failure.
Please note that this product should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the provided instructions and in compliance with recognized electrical and safety regulations. Always turn off circuit power at the distribution unit before installation and maintenance.
