To install the HYTRONIK HMW12 Surface Mount High Bay Motion Sensor, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the installation is carried out by a qualified engineer in accordance with local regulations.
2. Disconnect the power supply before starting the installation.
3. If using direct junction "J" box mounting:
   a. Separate the control board (A) from the facia (B) and junction box (C).
   b. Make the electrical connections to the control board (A) following the detailed wiring diagram provided in the manual.
   c. Secure the control board (A) to the junction box.
   d. Set up the sensor modes as per sections 3 and 4 of the manual.
   e. Clip the facial plate (B) to the control board (A).
4. If using surface mount assembly:
   a. Separate the control board (A) from the facia (B) and surface box (C).
   b. Securely mount the surface box (C) to a flat and solid surface.
   c. Make the electrical connections to the control board (A) following the detailed wiring diagram provided in the manual.
   d. Set up the sensor modes as per sections 3 and 4 of the manual.
   e. Secure the control board (A) to the surface box (C).
   f. Clip the facial plate (B) to the control board (A).

Note: It is recommended to have a mounting distance of more than 2m between sensors to prevent false-triggering.
