To clean the Metcalfe MP10 10 Litre Countertop Planetary Mixer, follow these steps:
1. Always disconnect the mixer from the power source before cleaning.
2. Remove the attachment/s after each batch to prevent them from getting stuck on the shaft.
3. Never attempt to clean the mixer while it is in motion.
4. Do not use a scrubber pad, steel wool, or abrasive material to clean the mixer.
5. Do not use bleach or bleach-based cleaner.
Recommended Cleaning Instructions:
Attachments:
- Hand wash the attachments using soap and water, rinse, dry, and sanitize. Clean them after each use.
Guard:
- Hand wash the guard using soap and water, rinse, dry, and sanitize. Clean it when required.
Bowl:
- Using a sponge or cloth, clean the bowl with soap and water. Apply pressure to ensure the bowl is clean. Rinse, dry, and sanitize the bowl. The bowl can also be placed in a dishwasher. Clean it after each use.
Solid Bowl Guard:
- Hand wash the solid bowl guard using soap and water, rinse, dry, and sanitize. Clean it after each use.
Bowl Cradle:
- Hand wash the bowl cradle using soap and water, rinse, dry, and sanitize. Clean it daily.
Planetary Shaft:
- Wipe the planetary shaft with a clean damp cloth, then dry and sanitize it. Clean it after each use.
Exterior:
- Hand wash the exterior of the mixer using soap and water, rinse, dry, and sanitize. Clean it daily.
Hub Interior:
- Wipe the hub interior with a clean damp cloth, then dry and sanitize it. Clean it daily.
Remember to always disconnect the mixer from the power source before cleaning or servicing it.
