To connect your ZoneMaster 2 amplifier to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Unpack your ZoneMaster 2 amplifier and locate the AC power cord and included accessories.
2. Ensure that your ZoneMaster 2 amplifier is placed away from heat sources and in a well-ventilated area.
3. Connect your audio sources (such as a preamp or whole-house audio controller) to the Line Input jacks for the left and right channels.
4. If your audio source lacks preamp output jacks, you can use the Speaker Level Input connector. Connect the speaker terminals of your audio source to the Speaker Level Input connector on the ZoneMaster 2. Make sure to maintain polarity by connecting the positive terminals to the positive terminals and the negative terminals to the negative terminals.
5. If you have passive in-wall subwoofers, you can use the Sub Out jack on the ZoneMaster 2. Connect the subwoofers to the Sub Out jack using a mono cable.
6. Connect your speakers to the Speaker A and B outputs on the ZoneMaster 2. Make sure to connect the positive terminals to the positive terminals and the negative terminals to the negative terminals. You can connect up to two pairs of speakers to each channel (A and B).
7. Adjust the Level controls for each channel to set the desired volume levels for your speakers.
8. Choose the appropriate settings for the Crossover and Mode switches based on your setup. The Crossover switch allows you to engage an 80 Hz low pass filter for subwoofers, while the Mode switch determines whether the amplifier plays in stereo or mono mode.
9. Choose the desired Turn On option using the Turn On Options switch. The options include Manual, Audio, and 12V Trigger. The Manual option requires you to manually turn on and off the amplifier using the Power button on the front panel. The Audio option automatically turns on the amplifier when an audio signal is present and turns off after a few minutes of no audio signal. The 12V Trigger option allows the amplifier to be turned on and off using an external +9V to +12V voltage from your preamp, AV receiver, or whole-house controller.
10. Connect the AC power cord to the ZoneMaster 2 and plug it into a power outlet.
11. Turn on your audio system and enjoy your music.
