To clean the Metcalfe MP40 mixer, follow these steps:

1. Always disconnect the mixer from the power source before cleaning.
2. Remove the attachments after each use to prevent them from becoming stuck on the shaft.
3. Hand wash the attachments using soap and water, rinse, dry, and sanitize them.
4. Clean the guard by hand washing it with soap and water, then rinse, dry, and sanitize it.
5. The bowl can be cleaned using a sponge or cloth, soap and water. Apply pressure to ensure the bowl is clean, then rinse, dry, and sanitize it. The bowl can also be placed in a dishwasher.
