To mount and install the Extron TLI Pro 201 TouchLink Pro Touchpanels, follow these steps:
1. Mount the units: Place the TLI Pro 201 on a convenient surface, mount it in a standard rack, or use an under-table mounting kit. Refer to the TLI Pro 201 User Guide for detailed instructions.
2. Connect cables: Connect the necessary cables to the TLI Pro 201. This includes connecting the HDMI input of the TLI Pro 201 to the HDMI output of the source device. Connect the HDMI output of the TLI Pro 201 to the third-party touch panel. If you are using a non-touch display, connect a USB mouse to the USB port on the TLI Pro 201 to click the screen icons. Lastly, connect the Ethernet cable for network communication. The TLI Pro 201 must be powered by PoE+.
3. Set up network communication: Connect the PC you are using for setup to the same Ethernet subnetwork as the TLI Pro 201. Also, connect a control processor to the same subnetwork. Use the Setup Menu or Toolbelt software to set the DHCP status and configure the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and other network settings.
4. Configure the user interface: Use software programs like GUI Designer, Global Configurator Professional, Global Configurator Plus, and Global Scripter to design layouts for the third-party touch panel interface and set up and configure the control processor and interface. Refer to the respective software's help files for detailed instructions.
